The California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) University Library provides computer workstations to support the scholarly activities of CSUSM faculty, students and staff. Priority use of library computer workstations is for those doing scholarly research.
Except for purposes of scholarly research, do not:
- Display messages, images or sounds that could create an atmosphere of discomfort or harassment for those around you.
- Transmit messages containing obscene, offensive or discriminatory material.
- Expose others to material and images that might be considered offensive or could violate state or federal law or university policies.
At all times be sensitive to the public nature of shared computer workstations.
Library workstations must be used in accordance with the University Library’s Conduct Policy, the CSUSM Computer & Network Security Policy, other relevant CSUSM computing policies, and United States and California statutes of law. Library Internet access is based upon the First Amendment of the US Constitution and American Library Association documents, including The Library Bill of Rights.
Damaging or removing equipment is a crime and will be prosecuted.
